INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
An Addition & Partial Remodel for Saline County Collectorʼs Office Bid Number 2019/07/17
PART 1 GENERAL
1.01 SECTION INCLUDES
A. Instructions to Bidders, Bidding Documents Deposit, Bid Security, Withdrawal of Bid, Bid Opening, Budget, and Deductive Alternates.
1.02 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
A. The "Instructions to Bidders", AIA Document Number A701, as modified by this Section, is a part of the Bidding Requirements. When any part is modified by this Section the unaltered provisions shall remain in effect. Copies of AIA Document A701 are available upon request from the Architect.
B. All Bidders must be licensed by the State of Arkansas, ARK ACTS 1965, no. 150, as amended.
C. Saline County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any or all formalities.
D. Email Angel Koder (angel.koder@salinecounty.org) to be formally added to the Bidders List.
1.03 BIDDING DOCUMENTS DEPOSIT
A. Bidding Documents Deposit: A deposit for bidding documents is not required. All documents are available in PDF format, and may be downloaded by visiting the following website

All bidders shall be responsible for printing their own documents, if hard copies are desired.
1.04 BID SECURITY
A. Bid Security: Each Bidder will submit, as Bid Security, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of his/her bid made payable to the Owner. The Bid Security of the three lowest bidders will be retained until award and execution of the Contract.
1.05 WITHDRAWAL OF BID
A. Bids may not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of the Bid
Opening.
1.06 BID OPENING
Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019 by the Saline County Purchasing Specialist, Suite 116, Saline County Courthouse,200 N. Main St, Benton, AR.
