The Saline County Regional Sold Waste Management District is having a Household Hazardous Waste Event on Saturday, October 13, from 8am till 11am. It is being held at the Saline County Fairgrounds.

Saline County, as part of our Stormwater Management Plan, must hold an annual household hazardous waste drop off event. Saline County is going to partner with the District to advertise the event.

The following items will be accepted at the event:

1. Household hazardous waste
2. Light bulbs.
3. Batteries
4. Bicycles
5. Gently used furniture
6. Clothing
7. Windows (double pane)
8. Working appliances

The District reserves the right to refuse any items, and if so, you will be responsible for the disposal. No commercial haulers are allowed.
